Albums of 2008
1. Tha Carter 3 – Lil Wayne’s year! Deluxe album is hot
2. Paper Trial – TI – definitely his tightest album – clever collaborations and diverse production
3. Only by the night – Kings of Leon – could release every song on the album. Closer has to be released next
4. The making of a man – Jaheim – Never fails to impress, awesome slow jamz
5. Riot – Paramore – Released last year but definitely the best 37 minutes music experience – not too Emo either
6. 808 and heartbreak – Kayne West – nothing like you have ever heard before, Robocop and Amazing alternative hip hop at its best, might not be his best selling album – hip hop heads will stay away
7. 140 grime street – Kano – Uk’s finest without a shadow of a doubt, he blew up o2 wireless festival! Biggest MC on road
8. The Cool – Lupe Fiasco – Deep
9. Something else – Robin Thicke – Sit back and enjoy

Alltop – love it
Have you ever wanted a site which acted like a magazine rack giving you snippets of news and articles you might want to read?
Or a centralised space where the best of the web is in one place and acts like a massive dynamic RSS reader?
Well I did and came across a newish site (admittedly a few months ago) in Alltop
The site was put together and owned by the main man in VC and inspiring Guy Kawasaki, he used to work with Apple, is responsible for so many good websites, great investments and web concepts, everything you read and any interaction with suggests he has a great humorous side and simply oozes successl.
Guy’s other project include: Popurls and Truemors
For me why its so easy and so handy is it offers great content and you dont have subscribe, you select your topic and the feeds are ready, so if you are a regular visitor or know me, you know i’m a big UFC fan, so you go to alltop search for the section you are interested in and then it appears with the best feeds. So UFC is under MMA so simple.
If you into something completely random click on the alphabet and it will display all the results.
Its so useful for information, keeping up to date with developments and market research, after a conversation with Guy on Twitter, he will be announcing new developments coming soon @ SXSW.
Anyways keeping it brief – check out the site, its a must look/must read and will keep you entertained for hours!

Review of Sundays predictions
So two draws on the two FA games on Sunday….. could not have been more wrong
My Arsenal side looked lacklustre, lost of ideas and in need of a few players, first string or not definitely need 2 to 3 players, and proven but as with most Arsenal fans, in Arsene we trust.
Cardiff in all fairness had good chances first half and could have won the game easily. I can not see a repeat performance at The Emirates Stadium
If you wish to watch sorry subject yourself to highlights, you can here
Liverpool derby proved two things, Everton have arguably the best and most organised back line and Liverpool tactics and confidence is shot!
Lescott nicked the ball passed Reina and was upto captain marvel to the rescue again!
Steven Gerrard emphasised again that he is by far the best English player!
Check out the highlights
So all in all I got both wrong but predictions for the replays is Arsenal walk to home victory and Liverpool win @ Goodison Park.

wall to wall vs @twitter
Today while catching up on Twitter I came across some interesting conversations.
One was some beef (trouble) between DJ Semtex, a hip hop DJ on 1xtra and Wale, he is a talented MC/rapper (he is rapper at the begin of the Amy Winehouse’s Valerie) long story short, Semtex was waiting for Wale for an interview and misread twitter posts. Seems like they have squashed it through email….
Check out Head shoulders knees toe freestyle from Wale with shout outs to Semtex
Secondly came a post that tickled me: -
professorgreen @skinnermike does this mean i’m coming to brixton? i’ll bring that slag mandy with me… hope you don’t have much planned for the day after 10 minutes ago from web in reply to skinnermike
I wanna know who this Mandy is
This begged the question, on social networks is anything actually a secret unless its a direct message (DM on Twitter) or message on Facebook.
Maybe this was a PR stunt or something the artists or people do not realise this appears on all their followers feed. I remember a close friend writing something on someone from the opposites sexes wall and it was seen by their partner lets say this is not the way to go.
Things like this entertain but can ultimately end up blowing up.
Just like text messages things can always be misconstrued.
Anyways I think this is a note to all, anything you want to keep as a secret, DM or message your friend otherwise your likely to end up reported on (not just on betalabs but on newspapers, magazine and reported on the news on some cases
Check out Wale’s best tune to date with Lil Wayne
