Ten things I have noticed in UFC recently
1. Scoring of fights still needs addressing, judging is shocking at the moment
2. Attacking especially a take down at the end of the round seems to win closer rounds
3. Trend of leaning on opponents and hammer fists, seems like judges and ref’s really look at this
4. British fighters have no wrestling this needs instant addressing otherwise will loose the big fights, just look at GSP’s development in recent years
5. Heavyweight is the best weight class in UFC
6. Counter attacking fighters make good champions
7. Dropping weight classes doesn’t mean better results
8. Anderson Silva is the only multi class fighter
9. UFC need big fights on each card to ensure PPV purchases
10. Light heavyweight lacks a real champion

Dana White the UFC president addresses on video, the Silva situation and announces Silva vs Sonnen is the next middleweight fight. Congratulates Frankie Edgar and wants Fedor still.
Dana also mention if Silva ever does what he did in the Maia fight he is going to be cut….I wonder who will win between Silva and White….

UFC 112 review and predictions
Probably the biggest fight card this year has come around quick.
Its special for two reasons, first event held in Abu Dhabi and outdoors and secondly important as two titles are on the line. BJ Penn arguably the best ever lightweight defends against New Jersey wrestler Frankie Edgar.
The second title defence is arguably pound for pound number Anderson Silva defending against fellow Brazilian and Brazilian Ju Jitsu expert Demain Maia.

April MMA pound for pound rankings (Sherdog)
1. Anderson Silva (25-4)
There is not much more you can say about the UFC middleweight champion, his title defence on Saturday could be his 11th straight victory. With Anderson Silva’s flirting with 205 it is often said he will soon have to fight a top 3 fighter, be interesting to see if Shogun beats Silva’s friend Machida will he be set up to fight Shogun?

The top ten phrases to come on betalabs
As many of you know I actually work in social media and SEO.
For me my blog does actually represent what my interests are, (I tend to keep the real geeky info to my work blog) music, football, UFC, comedy and sport on tv.
Here are my top ten phrases which visitors enter my site via search engines -
ufc moves step by step
mma moves step by step
tinie tempah pass out
jessie cornish
mma rankings
kevin jay
f
f1 results 2010
tinie tempah pass out video
football on tv this week
Remember by researching your external keywords you can actually see what people are searching for and what you are doing right. As you can see the most popular search that people enter my site with is ufc moves step by step, this is actually impressive as I only have a few videos on there, but as I have tailored my content and the way I write it ranks above many more websites.
I also do well in searches for former UK number one single pass out tinie tempah, obviously the misspelling could have been easier to rank with but one quick tip, most people who spell names or words incorrectly actually click on google suggestions. Bear that in mind.
Another music related search I do well with is “jessie cornish”. She is an English artist who has an awesome voice and sings in random places usually her bedroom or bathroom. She has been popular for months online and from her recent youtube video’s she is over in America recording, keep an eye on Jessie she is going to do big things!
A good phrase I do well with is Kevin Jay, he is a North London based comedian who is doing the circuit. He is quite street so some people might not be able to relate but his Nando’s joke are funny as.
Another good search term I rank well in is live football on tv, this weekend is easter weekend and the phrase is searched hundreds of times a day.
So quick tips for you -
Write articles so people can understand.
Use search terms and keywords you would use so you appear.
Write about new artists, upcoming events and get in early, allows time for you to be indexed and people recommending your blog post.
Link to other internal posts that are relevant don’t keep linking people externally.
