Bobby Lashely Confirms Recent Talks With The UFC -
When I get to the UFC, I want people to say ‘Bobby is good enough to go for the title.’ I would like to be holding a 5-0 or 6-0 record, somewhere around there before going into the UFC. I think it will be a few months or possibly a year until the former WWE star makes the big step up in MMA. Maybe a title shot against former WWE champ and current heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar might wet the appetite of non UFC/MMA fans.

UFC Announces TUF 9 Finale fight, Welterweight battle between Diego Sanchez vs. Clay Guida. Sanchez winning his debut Welterweight fight against Joe Daddy Stevenson at UFC 95 and Clay Guida the madman as I call him beat Nate Diaz at UFC 94. It will be an interesting fight as the weight drop and training will be tested to the extreme from the mental but talented Clay Guida.

Chris “The Professor” Wilson will take on Josh Koscheck, Koscheck is fighting for the 4th time in 7 months against the UFC veteran. Koscheck is coming off a lose to Paulo Thiago @ UFC 95 in London.
UFC 99
UFC newcomer Peter Sobotta will take on the English midlaner “relentless” Paul Taylor at Sobatta’s home nation Germany. Taylor is coming off a lose to Chris Lytle at UFC 89 in October 2008.
A middleweight battle is added to UFC 100
CB Dollaway Vs Tom Lawlor – Dollaway is 3-1 in the UFC and won at his last outing at UFC 92 against Mike Massenzio. Lawlor comes into his second fight after winning his last at TUF 8 against Kyle Kingsbury.
Matt Brown (9-7) vs. Anthony Johnson (7-2) is now on for TUF 9 Finale, Brown destroyed Pete Sell at UFC 96 on March 7th and looks to beat highly rated Johnson who has won his last two, including recent victory over Luigi Fioravanti at UFC Fight Night: Lauzon vs. Stephens back in February.

Matt Riddle vs. Dan Cramer – Cramer fought at UFC 94 and won on his début against Matt Arroyo. Riddle is 2 and 0 in the Octagon, defeating Steve Bruno at UFC Fight Night: Lauzon vs. Stephens by decision.

Georges St-Pierre Shoots Ad For Gatorade- GSP welterweight champ shoots new ad for a new line G.
UFC 101 looks set to take place at the Wachovia Center, in south Philadelphia, UFC have suggested they would like a summer event in South Philadelphia and lines up nicely with UFC 101.
UFC 100 -
There has been one fight confirmed and one suggested for the showcast 2 day event.
Belcher agrees to face Akiyama – Alan Belcher beat highly fought of Denis Kang @ UFC 93 in Dublin, Ireland recently and is looking to keep the momenum going.
Stephan Bonnar Vs Mark Coleman is looking more and more possible, it is suggested that Coleman has not agreed to sign but looks likely.

Unfortunately not much on the UFC radar today,
A small change to the UFC 97 line, Eliot Marshall vs Vinny Magalhaes has been added.
Mauricio Shogun Rua has been training with Demian Maia for preparation for his batle due at UFC 97 Redemption. Rua faces Chuck Liddell and training partner Maia has been impressed with the light heavyweight.
Jon Fitch vs. Paulo Thiago signed for July’s UFC 100, both men impressive in previous outtings, Jon Fitch on his way back up the welterweight ladder after his title shot failures against current champ Georges St Pierre. Fitch won recently at UFC 94 against Gono. Thiago is the unbeaten fighter from Brazil who knocked out Josh Koscheck at UFC 95.
John Hathaway and Rick Story To Meet at UFC 99, another European fighter added to its first German card. Hathaway is unbeaten and looking to take another vicitim in his raise in the UFC.
Finally Detroit has been earmarked on the UFC radar for a future event.

It appears Forrest Griffin is to face Thiago Silva in return at UFC 101 where the main fight is rumoured to be Randy Couture Vs Antonio Rodrigo “Minotauro” Nogueira. Both Griffin and Silva come off recent defeats to champion Rashad Evans (Griffin) and Silva to next title contender Lyoto Machida. Griffin will look to get back to winning ways after winning 3 straight (includes a submission win over Mauricio “Shogun” Rua at UFC 76 and title win over Quinton “Rampage” Jackson at UFC 86) before his lose to Evans. Silva will return after his only lose. UFC 101 will be held in Portland, Oregon on the 8th of August 2009.
UFC 99 –
Spencer Fisher vs. Kauru Uno has been added to the first fight card in Germany. It looks like another big card by Joe Silva and UFC for their European trip.
Sean Sherk believes he is next in line for the lightweight title after he beats Frankie Edgar at UFC 98. It is also reported he suggest current title holder BJ Penn has every advantage over number 1 contender Kenny Florian. Sean Sherk once the champion was lucky with his victory over Tyson Griffin at UFC 90.
Karo Parisyan has been suspended for 9 months and fined $32,000, another blow will be his split decision win over Dong Hyun Kim at UFC 94 will be overturned to no contest. Karo will lose his only income over the next 9 months. Karo has only lost to 3 men in his 8 years in the UFC – reigning UFC welterweight champion Georges St. Pierre, next title contender Thiago Alves and season one winner of Ultimate Figher Diego Sanchez.
Gray Maynard has signed a sponsorship deal to be the face of Everlast MMA, I think he has the face for it

The UFC have officially announced two welterweight bouts or should I say two knock out of the night fights
Mike “Quick” Swick takes on Ben “Killa B” Saunders – both men come off quick wins in December, Swick comes off a 33 second win over Jonathan Goulet and Ben Saunders comes off his 1minute 49 second win over Brandon Wolff.
“The Irish Hand Grenade” Marcus Davis takes Dan “The Outlaw” Hardy, The British Hardy goes into this fight off his 69 second win over Rory Markham while Marcus Davis has many ultra quick KO’s in the passed.
Two other bouts rumoured for UFC 99 are lightweight bouts between -
British fighter dropping down weight class Paul Kelly Vs Roli Delgado who beat John Polakowski by submission at Mir Vs Noguera.
Dale Hartt who record in UFC is 1 win and 1 lose Vs Dennis Siver who record is 2 wins and 3 loses in UFC.
Two releases from the UFC are Light heavyweight Mike Patt, who lost his 2 fights in UFC, against Tim Boetsch and last outing to Brandon Vera @ UFC 96 and young Irish Welterweight Thomas Egan.
Rumoured bout for UFC 101 – Kendall Grove vs Wilson Gouveia. Joe Silva looks to have another put together another good fight together, Grove coming off a big come back win at UFC 96 and Gouveia being broken down by Nate Marquardt again at UFC 96.
